Please let us tell you about news in the chez-Arol Ecolodge for 2009.
Total nine bungalows, six of them with bathrooms and new matress, one family room 2 floors and hot water in the bathroom
an observatory, timber tower in the primary forest, good spot for the red ruffed lemur
planting one tree with the guest at each boat transfer from Maroantsetra, carbon compensation
a self guided trail around the lodge, will start in August
And we are still working on the local development for the Ambodiforaha villagers
they protect a marine area in front of the lodge and we pay their teacher
we have built some walls in the water for rice field irrigation
we pay a technician to improve their rice harvest
we bought toilet for the villagers
